A new piece of concept art. This scene depicts Diana about to battle the creature Decay (too long to explain who Decay is, just do a Wikipedia search).

I spent about 6 hours on the piece when sadly a blackout occurred when I was busy doing the final details, this resulted in the Photoshop file getting corrupted, needless to say I was devastated, however the preview of the image was still being registered by Adobe Bridge, so I took a Print Screen of that preview and painted over the top (the lesson here, always save multiple versions). I managed to salvage it, but it still doesn’t feel or look quite the same, but it is only concept art after all.

Wow, I really like this.

I know it's not what it could be, but it's a powerful image, with great perspective.

I don't know if you read the modern wondy comics, but in it she's facing a new villain "Genocide." She's supposed to be Wonder Woman's equivalent of Doomsday but their big major fight was just... well, lack luster.

Your image is ten times more powerful than an entire three pages of combat between Wondy and Genocide. This image literally seems like a battle rather than just a brawl, you can feel the tension and the intensity of the situation.
Diana's stern expression, and the way Decay's fingers are stretching out like claws, it's just a great moment.

Hey thanks, I am familiar with the recent WW comics, but I'm not quite sure I like the direction they've taken her. I've actually always had this image in my head when imagining a Wonder Woman film, a sort of calm before the storm type of image, glad you like it. :thumbsup:

You definitely got it with this picture.
It feels like one of those moments in a movie where all movement pauses just for a split second before it all goes to double speed; you know it's about to get bad but for a just a moment time stands still while the foes face off.

Nicely done; and I'd definitely agree with disliking the direction they're taking her in. But then, Superman's not the star of Action Comics anymore and Batman is dead so the circle couldn't be complete if they didn't F with the last member of the trinity as well, right? =P

Ouch - that's why I use up 3x space on all my renders.. and even if it's not multi-saves, I tend to diverge the pic.. one posed one way, and another posed a different way.. and after much deliberation, one would carry on as the 'better' branch, and I work down that path. Natural selection of art :)

Great work on the concept :)
