A continuation of my Mortal Kombat series, good ol’ Sonya Blade this time round. This was going to be more detailed and blended but I started to like the roughness of the foundation brush strokes so I decided to stay with that style, sort of gives it a more concept design feel to the overall piece which I quite like. Very nicely done. I'm a little tired of seeing Sonya being portrayed as this hot young thing. She was in her late twenties when Mortal Kombat came out in the early 90's. She'd have to at LEAST be around 40.

Anyway, brilliant. And oddly enough, she looks like the live action portrayal of Sonya in the new web series.
