Another addition to my Mortal Kombat gallery, I've had a few requests for Scorpion so I figure may as well do him next. Kept the painting a bit loose and rough, used the MK v DC Universe costume as the base for the design. Done in Painter using Gouache and Sponges, with a touch of Photoshop for some slight colour alterations, about 7 hours work.

It's missing something from the main part of the costume in comparison with his mask, but overall I like it. I really like how you brought his eyes out, I think it adds a lot more depth to his face and character. I'm playing MK9 right now on my 360, and I love the fact they show more of his history and story. <3

I gotta say this.

This is by far the best scorpion art I saw in deviantart. Man, your details are just awesome.

My MK deviations pales in comparison to this. [link]

Anyway, did you sketch this on a paper first for the outline or all of this are done on a computer?
